Ian is a former broadcaster who loves interviewing people and getting to the heart of interesting stories. He spent a decade on the road as a news correspondent and presenter for Radio New Zealand.

With a degree in physics and a CV that traverses gardening, activism, community building and data analysis, Ian is interested in almost everything. His experience in science, community and communications come together in his current role at the Dunedin City Council, where he is working with the South Dunedin community to plan for climate change.
