David is a tech writer, copywriter, and science fiction enthusiast. He has written for tech startups, academic publications, an apparently evil synthwave brewery, and Dunedin’s literary tourism app dtour.

A former English lecturer and teaching fellow at the University of Sydney and the University of Otago, he has researched and taught modernism, science fiction, fan fiction, the graphic novel, and plagiarism. He is currently restoring an 1894 pedal-driven printing press, with plans to (very slowly) recreate Jorge Luis Borges’ Library of Babel.
