Susan Sims: Born and raised in Dunedin, Susan spent many years living in Sydney and New York before returning home. Her work life has varied with jobs including retail, hospitality, corporate and university roles, temping, marketing, and fundraising for medical research. Susan uses that and her other life experiences to inform her writing. 

She is a Past-President of Romance Writers of New Zealand, the organisation that supports and celebrates writers.
